Let the journey begin!

I read a ton of blogs by amazing educators. My Facebook is filled with world language groups and teacher posts. My Feedly app is my current addiction. I always feel a little sad when there aren't any new posts left to read. I can't get enough of the ideas, tips, tricks, strategies, lessons, reflections and activities.

One of my all-time favorite blogs, that Meredith White told me about, is Todally Comprehensible Latin by Keith Toda. About a month ago, I ran across his post, So You Want to Blog? He wrote about the importance of blogs in his development as a CI teacher and his blogging journey. He encouraged his non-blogging readers to start a blog. He said "You have a voice." His message spoke to me. It has been rolling around in my head for a couple months. And here I am.

I've never seen myself as a writer. I love teaching. I love lesson planning and creating new activities and assessments. I love decorating my classroom and creating an inviting space that draws people in. I love life and living in the moment. 

So, here I am writing my first blog post. Let the journey begin!
